We used this next to the front door to hold everyday things like keys — a spot to drop them on the way in. The flip-open doors have brass hardware and give you a spot for miscellaneous small stuff. The doors close with a soft, slow motion instead of slamming shut.
The finish has some surface scratches from daily use. There are brass panels on either side for a nice mid-century look.
